It contains a blend of natural oils which insects find very unpleasant the oils spread through the dog's coat and remain active for up to 4 months. Suitable for dogs of any age even during pregnancy and nursing.
Well, I don't like to continually use any product like these, however these could be used when you take the dog out for a walk, then remove the next day. This should give them a chance to kill any ticks, you could store them in a sealed plastic bag safely out of the way.
